About Us
Zion Lutheran Church has been faithfully serving its community since its organization in 1886 by Rev. Claus Schroeder. From humble beginnings meeting in local halls to establishing a thriving church and school, Zion has grown through generations of dedicated pastors, teachers, and members. Today, Zion continues its mission of sharing Christ’s love while honoring a rich heritage of worship, education, and community service.
Worship
In person services are now being held Saturday evenings at 5:30 pm and Sunday mornings at 8:00 am and 10:30 am.
We also offer live streaming service on Facebook
Daily devotions Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday will be available for viewing at 9:00 am via Facebook.
Wednesday at 8:30 am.

What are your beliefs?
Zion Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. We accept all the cononical books of the Old and New Testament as the inspired Word of God, and all the Symbolical Books of the Evangelical Lutheran Church contained in the book of Concord as the divine rule and guide of doctrine and life drawn from the Word of God, according to which not only all doctrine of our congregation shall be taught, but also all doctrine disputes shall be judged and settled. These Symbolical Books are: The Ecumenical Creeds (Apostolic, Nicene, Athanasian), the Unaltered Augsburg Confession, the Apology of the Augsburg Confession, the Smalcald Articles, Luther’s Small and Large Catechism and the Formula of Concord.

What is the worship style there?
Our Services are Traditional style using the Divine Service setting from the Lutheran Service Book.
What do I wear on a Sunday?
When you come to Zion it isn’t about the tag on your shirt, it’s about what’s in your heart. All we ask that you do is come prepared to hear the Word of God spoken into your life, receive His gifts, and rejoice among the people of God. If you want to wear a three piece suit, wonderful. If you’re wanting to wear designer jeans, great. If you’re coming in hand me downs, wonderful! We just want you to be here and part of the kingdom of heaven with us.
